CAMP

Where leaders flourish through rest, rewilding, and deep reconnection.

REWILD WORK
Presents

Are you longing for a
day spent in nature?

Welcome to CAMP – a transformative, full-day nature immersion experience nestled in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, designed to cultivate sustainable,
soulful leadership.

Journey with us to Cedar Root, a lush 20-acre sanctuary tucked away near Portland, Oregon, where rest, rewilding, and profound reconnection await.

In a world consumed by ceaseless busyness and complexity, where productivity reigns supreme, moments of simplicity, silence, and shared humanity are rare treasures. Yet, they are vital for replenishing our inner well and reigniting our vitality.

Our ever-evolving creativity and ingenuity thrive on spaciousness. At CAMP, we embrace #slowwork, inviting you to delve into moments of non-doing and grounded awareness, fostering deep connection with Self, Land, and Other.

Together, we carve out sacred space for self-discovery, collaborative dialogue, artistic expression, and embodied movement, unlocking intuition, fueling creativity, and rejuvenating our collective journey forward.

Join us for purposeful nature-based
practices, indulge in farm-to-Forest delights,
and bask in the awe-inspiring beauty of both
our inner and outer landscapes

REWILD WORK is at the forefront of a new business paradigm

One that values deep connection, communal growth, and the celebration of our interconnectedness. We believe that work plays an integral role in each individual’s journey toward soulful success. We have created CAMP to bring these values to life.

REWILD Your Inner Leader and Transform Your World of Work

So often in our work with clients we hear some version of the following:

“I am exhausted. I just want to get away, in nature, with no devices, no one to answer to, no one to be, nothing to do, and just be quiet.”

- Are you longing for a day spent in nature?
- A day with no meetings and no rigid agendas.
- A moment where societal, workplace, and familial roles fade into the distance and to-do lists are paused.
- An opportunity to wander freely in open, undisturbed space to explore your inward and outward nature.
- A chance to play, listen, and savor in the simple joys of life.
- A moment for ritual, indulging in local cuisine, and forging deeper bonds with the natural world.
- A time to tap into your inner wisdom, attune to the whispers of the earth, and chart your path toward growth and expansion.

The Five Pillars of CAMP

Rewild: Creatively express, engage in ritual, nature-based practices, silence, and play.

Reconnection: Reconnect with
Self, Land, and Other.

Recharge: Rest and recover from the stresses of modern life and work.

Re-Engage: Align on the path forward with collective commitments and intentions.

Remember: Reignite your purpose and meaning, remembering where you’ve been and where you’re going.

Honoring the energetic qualities of Spring and Summer invites us to:

Who is CAMP for?

CAMP is for individuals and teams within corporations, startups, non-profits who are ready to engage in slow work, meaningful connection, and redefine, if even for a day, what it means to be productive.

CAMP is for the numinous spark that lives within each of us. The childlike spirit of play, wonder, and awe waiting to be unleashed.

CAMP is for the part of us that longs for and delights in the carefree exploration of nature where endless possibilities are found.

Cedar Root at Highland Butte

Cedar Root is a privately owned, hidden nature oasis located just outside of Portland, Oregon on 20 acres of lush forests with trails, a spring-fed pond, and wood burning sauna. It is rustic, quaint, and an idyllic setting for group gatherings.

Nestled under the power and strength of surrounding cedar trees, guests will experience a two-course farm-to-table lunch and a three-course, outdoor candlelit dinner crafted and prepared by Cedar Root's private chef, Evan Heim.

Transformative Testimonials

Hear from our past attendees who’ve experienced profound shifts in team effectiveness, belonging, and engagement. Their journeys reflect the transformative power of the REWILD WORK learning design and approach.

“Thank you again for facilitating this session and opening up our minds and conversations. I have noticed, even in the past few days, that the degree of depth in my 1:1’s with each of the people on my team, has significantly increased. I have enjoyed it a lot and hope the team is with me.”

Jean Van Damme, GM Walmart Store No. 8

“I loved the REWILD Human Experience sessions! I enjoyed getting to know a number of my team members on a more personal level in a very short period of time as opposed to a few weeks or months of one-off 1:1’s. I’d wager the two sessions you led over the last two days will help our team move from the “forming” stage to “norming” and “performing” stage in the coming months”.

- Peter Salvo, Walmart Engineer Manager

“I’ve never participated in anything this experiential ever during my career. It was wonderful!”

KPMG Manager, Portland office

“Thank you for teaching these amazing skills and practices! I have been working to implement them in my professional and personal life and am excited for the new changes I am noticing. I also really appreciate the personal experiences you chose to share with us. I found your story about the beginning of your career and the steps you chose to take to be really inspiring.”

Nike Demand Planning Manager

“This is a program everyone should have the chance to take at our company.”

HP Marketing Executive

“The time and positive energy from this program will ripple through our organization like rings.”

FAQ’s

Yes! We will have several open enrollment programs this summer for individuals! Please complete the application form and you will be informed of further details.

Can I attend CAMP as an individual?

After filling out the application, you will be contacted by a member of the REWILD WORK team to begin scheduling and planning. We will arrange a call to discuss various logistics, timing, expectations, and intentions for the CAMP experience. Availability will be determined based on the number of applications submitted.

If I am ready to bring my team to CAMP, what is the lead time and process?

Yes, we can accommodate small changes throughout the daylong experience as long as we remain in alignment with the values, intentionality, and objectives of CAMP - slow work, meaningful connection, spaciousness, a spirit of non-doing. We value co-creation with our clients and are willing and ready to meet you halfway.

Can I customize the CAMP experience for my team?

Yes! We plan to make CAMP available through October 2024. CAMP will re-open again in Spring of 2025. Please be sure to subscribe to our email list for information and updates.

I can’t bring my team to CAMP this summer. Will there be more opportunities in fall 2025?

Yes! Cedar Root offers several camping sites. For those wishing to extend their stay can do so by reserving a Cedar Root campsite through HipCamp at their own expense. Please note, camping and camping equipment is not included in the REWILD WORK CAMP experience.

Is there an option to bring camping gear and stay the night on the Cedar Root property?

Yes. Cedar Root is fully equipped with various amenities including fresh running water, compost toilets, and shelter. We will also have access to the home of Brad Kliener who lives and works on the Cedar Root land.

Are there facilities such as bathrooms, sinks, water, and shelter at Cedar Root?

The uncertainty of Nature is one of our greatest teachers and an integral part of the CAMP experience. As a default, we will embrace and work with weather conditions as they arise. However, if conditions present a safety concern or have an overall negative impact on the experience, we will work with our partners to reschedule the planned event.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

There are no cancellations or refunds due to the extensive planning, coordination, and management of the event.

What is the cancellation policy?

As a standard, we prefer to accommodate groups no larger than 20 people. Larger groups tend to be less intimate and distract from the communal essence of CAMP. That said, we are willing to work with our partners to ensure inclusivity.

How many people can Cedar Root and the CAMP experience accommodate?
