Tim was born and raised in Akro, OH--a proud Akronite. While playing soccer at the University of Akron, he graduated with honors as a double major in International Business and Philosophy in 2005.
He started his career in New York City and Washington DC in finance and consulting, respectively, at Morgan Stanley and the World Bank. Upon completion of an MBA from the University of Notre Dame in 2010, he began a seven year adventure with Nike that included roles in digital sport (Nikeplus) strategic planning and sports marketing (global football) between Portland, Amsterdam and Stockholm. During this time, Tim completed a master's in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012.
While in Stockholm, Tim worked at River, a creative agency, as a strategy and account director (including Nike, Schneider Electric and eDreams ODIGEO). Most recently, Tim has started and/or relaunched smaller companies such as the Inquisitive Collective (ex. Code & Theory, Lenovo) and Pizza Night (ex. Amazon Music, Apple), a creative and content studio based in LA.
His latest passion project is his work as an adjunct professor at the University of Akron, where he teaches an honor's course exploring the strategy, psychology and storytelling of LeBron James.
He and his family have recently relocated to DC.
